“Awareness of consciousness”
The Supreme Truth Pointed Out by Sri Ramana Maharshi
“There is no creation, no destruction,
no bondage, no seeker of liberation,
no striving, and no attainment.
Know this to be the Supreme Truth.”

The Deeper Meaning:
There is no creation, no destruction:
Pure awareness is not created by anything. It is unborn. Therefore, it is beginningless and imperishable. Hence, from the standpoint of pure awareness, there is neither creation nor destruction. — Bhagavad Gita 4.6

There is no bondage, no seeking for liberation.
Prakriti, which manifests in eight forms—earth, water, fire, air, space, mind, intellect, and ego—cannot bind Pure Awareness.—Bhagavad 7.4
Therefore, pure awareness is never truly bound. And if there is no real bondage, there is no liberation to seek.

There is no striving, no attainment:
Pure awareness is known as the witnessing state surpassing karma. Without karma, there is no need to strive for its fruits. Bagavad Gita 4.17

In truth, there is nothing new that we need to attain. What we already are is that truth is the profound truth pointed out by Sri Ramana Maharshi:
No creation.
No destruction.
No bondage.
No seeking liberation
No striving.
No attainment.

To know this profound truth is not to learn something new.
It is to discover, through the inquiry “Who am I?” that Pure Awareness itself is what I am.
When this Supreme Truth becomes clear through the grace of the Guru, there is nothing else left to know.

“உணர்வுநிலை குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு”
ஸ்ரீ ரமண மகரிஷி சுட்டிக்காட்டிய பரம சத்தியம்
“படைப்பு இல்லை, அழிவு இல்லை,
பந்தம் இல்லை, முக்தி தேடுபவர் இல்லை,
முயற்சி இல்லை, அடைதலும் இல்லை.
இதையே பரம சத்தியம் என்று அறிவாயாக.”

இதன் ஆழமான பொருள்:
படைப்பு இல்லை, அழிவு இல்லை:
தூய உணர்வுநிலை (Pure Awareness) எதனாலும் படைக்கப்படுவதில்லை. அது பிறப்பற்றது. எனவே, அது தொடக்கமற்றது மற்றும் அழியாதது. ஆகவே, தூய உணர்வுநிலையின் கண்ணோட்டத்தில் பார்க்கையில், படைப்போ அல்லது அழிவோ இல்லை. — பகவத் கீதை 4.6

பந்தம் இல்லை, முக்தி தேடலும் இல்லை:
நிலம், நீர், நெருப்பு, காற்று, ஆகாயம், மனம், புத்தி மற்றும் அகங்காரம் ஆகிய எட்டு வடிவங்களில் வெளிப்படும் ‘பிரகிருதி’ (இயற்கை), தூய உணர்வுநிலையைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த முடியாது. — பகவத் கீதை 7.4
எனவே, தூய உணர்வுநிலை ஒருபோதும் உண்மையில் கட்டுண்டிருப்பதில்லை. உண்மையான பந்தம் என்று ஒன்று இல்லையென்றால், தேடுவதற்கு முக்தியும் (விடுதலையும்) இல்லை.

முயற்சி இல்லை, அடைதலும் இல்லை:
தூய உணர்வுநிலை என்பது கர்மத்தை கடந்த சாட்சி நிலை என்று அறியப்படுகிறது. கர்மா இல்லாதபோது, அதன் பலன்களுக்காக முயற்சி செய்ய வேண்டிய அவசியமும் இல்லை. — பகவத் கீதை 4.17

உண்மையில், நாம் அடைய வேண்டிய புதிய விஷயம் எதுவும் இல்லை. நாம் ஏற்கனவே என்னவாக இருக்கிறோமோ அதுவே அந்தச் சத்தியம்; இதுவே ஸ்ரீ ரமண மகரிஷி சுட்டிக்காட்டிய ஆழமான உண்மையாகும்:
படைப்பு இல்லை.
அழிவு இல்லை.
பந்தம் இல்லை.
முக்தி தேடல் இல்லை.
முயற்சி இல்லை.
அடைதல் இல்லை.

இந்த ஆழமான உண்மையை அறிவது என்பது புதிதாக எதையும் கற்றுக்கொள்வதல்ல.
“நான் யார்?” என்ற விசாரணையின் மூலம், தூய உணர்வுநிலையே நான் என்பதை உணர்வதே ஆகும்.
குருவின் அருளால் இந்த பரம சத்தியம் தெளிவாகும்போது, அறிந்துகொள்ள வேறு எதுவும் எஞ்சியிருப்பதில்லை.
