Beyond the Knowledge…
Ultimately one must go beyond knowledge, but the knowledge must come, and knowledge can come by constant meditation. By meditating, the knowledge “I am” gradually settles down and merges with universal knowledge and thereby becomes totally free, like the sky or space. ~ Nisargadatta Maharaj.

Interpretation:
Here, going beyond knowledge means that knowledge is what emerges through one’s senses, and beyond knowledge is feeling, which emerges along with the senses.

Seeing is the knowledge that comes from the eyes, and vision is the consciousness associated with them. When that consciousness is experienced, knowledge also comes. The result is the constant meditation, and by meditating in this way, the pure consciousness of “I” gradually becomes established, merges with the expanded universal knowledge, and thereby becomes completely free like the sky or space.

Sufi saint Shams Tabrizi says, “The heart is the bridge between this world and the unseen.” When it opens, everything becomes one.

In this, the world he mentioned is the knowable, and the invisible is the consciousness beyond knowledge. When the bridge is opened, knowledge and consciousness become one and disappear in the vast pure awareness.

அறிவுக்கு அப்பால்…
இருப்பினும் இறுதியில் ஒருவர் அறிவைத் தாண்டிச் செல்ல வேண்டும், ஆனால் அறிவு வர வேண்டும், அறிவு நிலையான தியானத்தின் மூலம் வர முடியும். தியானம் செய்வதன் மூலம், “நான் படிப்படியாக நிலைபெற்று உலகளாவிய அறிவுடன் இணைகிறது, அதன் மூலம் வானம் அல்லது விண்வெளி போல முற்றிலும் சுதந்திரமாகிறது. – நிசர்கதத்த மஹாராஜ்.

இங்கு அறிவைத் தாண்டி செல்ல வேண்டும் என்பதற்கு பொருள், அறிவு என்பது ஒருவரின் புலன்கள் மூலமாக வெளிப்படுவது, அறிவைத் தாண்டியது உணர்வு, அது புலன்களோடு சேர்ந்து வெளிப்படும்.

அதாவது பார்க்கிறேன் என்பது கண்களின் வழியாக வெளிப்படும் அறிவு, பார்வை என்பது கண்களோடு சேர்ந்த உணர்வு. அவ் உணர்வு உணரப்படும் போது அறிவும் வரும். இதுவே நிலையான தியானம், இவ்வாறு தியானம் செய்வதின் மூலம், “நான்” என்னும் தூய உணர்வு படிப்படியாக நிலை பெற்று, விரிவடைந்த  உலகளாவிய அறிவுடன்  இணைந்து, அதன் மூலம் வானம் அல்லது விண்வெளி போல முற்றிலும் சுதந்திரமாகிறது.

“இதயம் இந்த உலகத்திற்கும் கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியாதவற்றுக்கும் இடையிலான பாலம்” என்று சூஃபி துறவி ஷம்ஸ் தப்ரிஸி கூறுகிறார். அது திறக்கும்போது, அனைத்தும் ஒன்றாகிவிடும்.

இதில், அவர் குறிப்பிட்ட உலகம் அறியக்கூடியது, மேலும் கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியாதது அறிவுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்ட உணர்வு. பாலம் திறக்கப்படும்போது, அறிவும் உணர்வும் ஒன்றாகி, பரந்த தூய விழிப்புணர்வில் மறைந்துவிடும்.
