The Vedas teach three things: the Ātman is first to be heard, then to be reasoned, and then to be meditated upon. When we first hear it, we must reason on it so that we don’t believe it ignorantly but knowingly, and after reasoning what it is, we must meditate upon it and then realize it. And that is religion. Belief is not part of religion. We say that religion is a superconscious state.

Interpretation:
Ātman is first to be heard:
Sound is necessary for hearing, and it is through sound that we perceive things. Hearing cannot exist without sound. Atman is existence, wisdom, and bliss. They have these names but are not three attributes.Therefore, only the “Irukku” or “being” sound frequency can prove that Atman exists.
Then to be reasoned:
No language may bar soul sound frequencies from manifesting. You can hear Atma Sabda in any language if you know how to create soul frequency sounds properly.
And then to be meditated upon:
Thus heard and rationalized, the frequencies of soul sound, when properly meditated upon to match unceasingly in soul light,
And then is to realize it:
it leads them to the blissful state of transcendental consciousness which is beyond religion!
Conclusion: Ultimately, it is only through the combination of divine sound and light that one can hear, know, meditate, realize, and become the soul itself.

ஆத்மன் முதலில் கேட்கப்பட வேண்டும்:
கேட்பதற்கு முதலில் சப்தம் உருவாக வேண்டும், சப்தத்தின் மூலமாகத்தான் ஒன்று கேட்கப்படும். சப்தமின்றி, கேட்டல் என்பதை மட்டும் தனியாக உணர இயலாது. ஆத்மாவின் மூன்று குணங்கள் இருத்தல், அறிவு மற்றும் பேரின்பம். அவை மூன்று வெவ்வேறு குணங்கள் அல்ல, ஆனால் இந்த பெயர்களால் அறியப்படுகின்றன. எனவே, தொடர்புடைய “இருக்கு அல்லது இருத்தல்” என்ற ஒலி அதிர்வெண்கள் மட்டுமே அந்த ஆத்மாவின் இருப்பை நிரூபிக்க முடியும்.
பின்னர் நியாயப்படுத்த வேண்டும்:
ஆன்மா ஒலி அதிர்வெண்கள் வெளிப்படுவதை எந்த மொழியும் தடுக்க முடியாது. ஆன்மா அதிர்வெண் ஒலிகளை எவ்வாறு சரியாக உருவாக்குவது என்று உங்களுக்குத் தெரிந்தால், எந்த மொழியிலும் ஆத்மா சப்தாவை நீங்கள் கேட்கலாம்.
பின்னர் அது தியானிக்க வேண்டும்:
இவ்வாறு கேட்கப்பட்ட , மற்றும் நியாயப்படுத்தப்பட்ட, ஆத்ம ஒலியின் அதிர்வெண்கள், முறையாக ஆத்ம ஒளியில் இடைவிடாது பொருந்தும்படி தியானிக்கும் போது,
பின்னர் அதை உணர வேண்டும்:
அது அவர்களை மதம் கடந்த அதீத உணர்வு நிலை என்னும் பேரின்ப நிலைக்கு இட்டுச் செல்கிறது!
முடிவுரை: இறுதியில், தெய்வீக ஒலி மற்றும் ஒளியின் கலவையின் மூலமே ஒருவர் கேட்கவும், அறியவும், தியானிக்கவும், உணரவும், ஆன்மாவாகவும் முடியும்.
