“Shivam never comes or goes.”
“You stood before all the five elements! Those who remember that you are the one who does not go anywhere, the one who does not come from anywhere” are the opening lines of Manickavasaka’s Thirupalliyajuchchi song.
Interpretation:
In actuality, there is no separate space for the pot; rather, all of the pots exist in space. Similarly, there is no individual space of consciousness within the body made of elements; instead, all bodies move within Shivam, the unchanging space of consciousness that never comes or goes.
When, through the grace of the Guru, one realizes that this physical body is attached by the all-pervading, conscious mantra, then a permanent abode, one that neither comes nor goes, will be blessed to this body, just as it was attained by Manikkavasaga perumaan
“சிவம் ஒருபோதும் வருவதோ போவதோ இல்லை.”
“பூதங்கள் தோறும் நின்றாய்! எனின் அல்லால் போக்கிலன் வரவிலன் என நினைப் புலவோர் ” என்ற இந்த வரி, மாணிக்கவாசகரின் திருப்பள்ளியெழுச்சி பாடலில் உள்ளது.
பொருள் விளக்கம்:
உண்மையில், பானைக்கெனத் தனி ஆகாயவெளி என்று எதுவும் இல்லை; மாறாக, எல்லாப் பானைகளும் அந்தப் பரந்த ஆகாய வெளியில் தான் இருக்கின்றன. அதேபோல,பஞ்ச பூதங்களால் ஆன இந்த உடலுக்குள் உணர்வுக்கு என்று தனி ஆகாயவெளி என்று எதுவும் இல்லை; மாறாக, எல்லா உடல்களும் என்றும் மாறாத, வருவதோ போவதோ இல்லாத, எங்கும் பரந்த உணர்வெளி எனும் மந்திரத்துக்குள், அதாவது ஊன் எனும் இவ் உடம்பை பற்றி நின்ற மந்திரமாக, சிவத்திற்குள் இயங்குகின்றன.
“யான் பெற்ற இன்பம் பெறுக இவ்வையகம்
வான்பற்றி நின்ற மறை பொருள் சொல்லிடின்
ஊன் பற்றி நின்ற உணர்வுறு மந்திரம்
தான் பற்றப் பற்றத் தலைப்படும் தானே” என்ற திருமூலரின் திருமந்திரம உரையின்படி,
குருவின் அருளால் எங்கும் பரவி இருக்கும் உணர்வுமயமான மந்திரத்தால் ஊன் எனும் இவ்வுடம்பு பற்றப்பட்டதை உணரும்போது, வருவதோ போவதோ இல்லாத, நிரந்தர இருப்பிடம் இவ்வுடம்பிற்கும், மாணிக்கவாசகப் பெருமானுக்கு கிட்டியதைப் போல் நமக்கும் கிட்டும்.
