Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never be achieved, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness, the Wholeness, and perceiving the all-encompassing and ever-present pure Shivam within oneself. -ADI SHANKARACHARYA
Despite all the differences in gender, race, caste, religion, language, country of origin, status, and age among the millions of people living now, a unified perception of self emerges, There, every person feels this as ‘I’ without distinction! That is oneness ,- the Wholeness.
The same non-dual consciousness of ‘I’ that shines forth as one awakens from deep sleep is the same ‘I’ in every human being; and when this consciousness is continuously realized, the all-encompassing and ever-present pure Shivam is being realized, and that itself becomes liberation.

“ஒருமையை, முழுமையை உணர”
நீங்கள் விரும்பும் அளவுக்கு தத்துவத்தைப் பேசுங்கள், நீங்கள் விரும்பும் அளவுக்கு பல கடவுள்களை வணங்குங்கள், விழாக்களைக் கொண்டாடுங்கள், பக்திப் பாடல்களைப் பாடுங்கள், ஆனால் நூறு யுகங்களுக்குப் பிறகும், ஒருமை, முழுமையை உணராமல். தனக்குள் இருக்கும் அனைத்தையும் உள்ளடக்கிய மற்றும் எப்போதும் இருக்கும் தூய சிவத்தை உணராமல், ஒருவர் ஒருபோதும் விடுதலையை அடைய முடியாது. – ஆதி சங்கராச்சாரியார்
இன்று வாழும் கோடிக்கணக்கான மக்களிடையே பாலினம், இனம், சாதி, மதம், மொழி, பிறந்த நாடு, அந்தஸ்து மற்றும் வயது ஆகியவற்றில் அனைத்து வேறுபாடுகள் இருந்தபோதிலும், ஆன்மாவை பற்றிய ஒரு ஒருங்கிணைந்த கருத்து வெளிப்படுகிறது, அங்கு ஒவ்வொரு நபரும் வேறுபாடுகள் இல்லாமல் இதை ‘நான்’ என்பதாக உணர்கிறார்கள்! அதுதான் ஒருமை – முழுமை.
ஆழ்ந்த உறக்கத்திலிருந்து விழித்தெழும்போது வெளிப்படும் அதே இரட்டை உணர்வு இல்லாத ‘நான்’ ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனிலும் அதே ‘நான்’ ஆகும்; இந்த உணர்வு தொடர்ந்து உணரப்படும்போது, அனைத்தையும் உள்ளடக்கிய மற்றும் எப்போதும் இருக்கும் தூய சிவம் உணரப்படுகிறது, அதுவே விடுதலையாகிறது.
