Interpretation:
Customary opinion belongs to the body, whereas every soul that resides in it possesses the attribute of inquiry as opposed to the customary option that each body has.
Rare individuals, such as Ramana Maharshi, used the attribute of inquiry hidden in the soul as a self-inquiry to discover “who am I” and therefore achieve salvation.

Others, who just accept the conventional option generated by their bodies, ruin the attributes of their own soul and therefore become susceptible to the Brahmahathi dosha.
Since destroying the property of a god and forgetting gratitude are both Brahmahathi sins, destroying one’s own soul by neglecting qualities of soul also becomes a Brahmahathi dosha.
As stated in the Bible, “the spirit indeed is enthusiastic, but the flesh is weak.” Like that, the one who sticks with their true self will become ever stronger and relieved from the sin.

வழக்கமான கருத்து நம் ஆன்மாக்களின் அழிவு.~ ரூமி
வழக்கமான கருத்து உடலுக்கு சொந்தமானது, அதேசமயம் அதில் வசிக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு ஆன்மாவும் ஒவ்வொரு உடலுக்கும் உள்ள வழக்கமான விருப்பத்திற்கு மாறாக விசாரணை என்ற பண்பைக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
ரமண மகரிஷி போன்ற அரிய நபர்கள், ஆன்மாவில் மறைந்திருக்கும் விசாரணையின் பண்பை ஒரு சுய விசாரணையாகப் பயன்படுத்தி “நான் யார்” என்பதைக் கண்டுபிடித்து அதன் மூலம் முக்தியை அடைந்தனர்.
தங்கள் உடலால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட வழக்கமான விருப்பத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொள்பவர்கள், தங்கள் சொந்த ஆன்மாவின் பண்புகளை அழித்து, அதனால் பிரம்மஹத்தி தோஷத்திற்கு ஆளாகிறார்கள்.
ஒரு கடவுளின் சொத்தை அழிப்பதும் நன்றியை மறப்பதும் பிரம்மஹத்தி பாவங்கள் என்பதால், ஆன்மாவின் குணங்களைப் புறக்கணிப்பதன் மூலம் ஒருவரின் சொந்த ஆன்மாவை அழிப்பதும் பிரம்மஹத்தி தோஷமாகிறது.
பைபிளில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளபடி, “ஆவி உண்மையில் உற்சாகமானதுதான், ஆனால் சதை பலவீனமானது.” அதுபோல, தங்கள் உண்மையான சுயத்துடன் ஒட்டிக்கொள்பவர் எப்போதும் வலிமையடைவார் மற்றும் பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுபடுவார்.
