“Tat Tvam Asi,”
“What you seek is seeking you.”
Seeking is an intrinsic trait of every human being that persists throughout life. This means If you want knowledge, it will manifest as knowledge. Your desires for food and prosperity will materialize if you have them. If you want peace or bravery, you’ll get it; if you want sound, you’ll get sound. If you seek light, it will come; if you seek love, it will come; if you seek song and talk, it will come; if you seek silence and solitude, it will come; if you seek nature, it will come; and if you seek no God, it will come as nothingness. If you seek God, it will manifest as God and goddess; if you seek guru, it will manifest as guru; if you seek everything, it will manifest as everything. Instead, seek it as yourself, and it will appear as your whole consciousness. That “You are that.” That “Tat Tvam Asi.”

“தத் த்வம் அசி,” என்னும் வேத மகா வாக்கியத்தின் உட்பொருள்:
“நீ தேடுவது உன்னைத் தேடுகிறது.”
தேடுதல் என்பது ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனின் உள்ளார்ந்த பண்பு, அது வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் நீடிக்கும். இதன் பொருள் நீங்கள் அறிவை விரும்பினால், அது அறிவாக வெளிப்படும். உணவு மற்றும் செழிப்புக்கான உங்கள் ஆசைகள் உங்களிடம் இருந்தால் அவை நிறைவேறும். நீங்கள் அமைதி அல்லது துணிச்சலை விரும்பினால், அதைப் பெறுவீர்கள்; நீங்கள் ஒலி என்னும் சப்தத்தை விரும்பினால், உங்களுக்கு ஒலி கிடைக்கும். நீங்கள் ஒளியைத் தேடினால், அது ஒளியாக வரும்; நீங்கள் அன்பைத் தேடினால், அது அன்பாக வரும்; நீங்கள் பாடலையும் பேச்சையும் தேடினால், அது அவ்வாறே வரும்; நீங்கள் அமைதியையும் தனிமையையும் தேடினால், அதுவும் அவ்வாறே வரும்; நீங்கள் இயற்கையைத் தேடினால், அது இயற்கையாக வரும்; நீங்கள் கடவுளைத் தேடாவிட்டால், அது ஒன்றுமில்லாததாக வரும். நீங்கள் கடவுளைத் தேடினால், அது அம்மையப்பனாக வெளிப்படும்; நீங்கள் குருவைத் தேடினால், அது குருவாக வெளிப்படும்; நீங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் தேடினால், அது எல்லாமாகவும் வெளிப்படும். அதற்கு பதிலாக, உங்களைப் போலவே தேடுங்கள், அதற்கு பதிலாக, அதை நீங்களாகவே தேடுங்கள், அது உங்கள் முழு உணர்வாகத் தோன்றும். அதுவே “நீ அதுவாகிறாய்.” என்னும் “தத் த்வம் அசி.” வேத மகா வாக்கியம்.
