Yes, the Upanishad says, “Lead me from darkness to light.” When you are entering into light from darkness but without the guidance of a guru, it will make you dizzy first, since all you know blindly in the darkness becomes vanished at once when you enter into the light of wisdom , and so it makes you dizzy first.
That’s why the Upanishad says, “Lead me from darkness to light”—that is, someone who already exists in the light can only lead you from darkness to light. He is the guru who can only clear the dizziness that occurs when you are led into light from darkness, and then He puts you eternally to remain in the light of wisdom forever.

அதனால்தான் உபநிஷதம் கூறுகிறது, “என்னை இருளிலிருந்து வெளிச்சத்திற்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லுங்கள்” – அதாவது, ஏற்கனவே வெளிச்சத்தில் இருப்பவர் உங்களை இருளிலிருந்து வெளிச்சத்திற்கு மட்டுமே அழைத்துச் செல்ல முடியும். இருளிலிருந்து வெளிச்சத்திற்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லப்படும்போது ஏற்படும் மயக்கத்தை மட்டுமே நீக்கக்கூடிய குரு அவர், பின்னர் அவர் உங்களை என்றென்றும் ஞான ஒளியில் இருக்க வைக்கிறார்.
