Sant Kabir says, “All know that the drop merges into the ocean, but few know that the ocean merges into the drop”.
Interpretation:
What could be the difference between the two?
The drop merges with the ocean:
where the drop represents the human body and the ocean represents the soul or pure consciousness. Everyone understands that one day, this drop of body will vanish and merge into pure consciousness. However, no one knows if it will demerge and transform into another drop of the body.
The ocean merges into the drop:
yet only a few realize the truth, if pure consciousness begins to expand through its attribute of grace, the drop of the body will be forcibly absorbed by the ocean, and the ocean never allows the drop to part from it again.

இரண்டிற்கும் என்ன வித்தியாசம் இருக்க முடியும்?
துளி கடலுடன் இணைகிறது:
அங்கு துளி மனித உடலையும், கடல் ஆன்மாவையோ அல்லது தூய உணர்வையோ குறிக்கிறது. ஒரு நாள், இந்த உடலின் துளி மறைந்து தூய உணர்வில் இணையும் என்பதை அனைவரும் புரிந்துகொள்கிறார்கள். இருப்பினும், அது பிரிந்து உடலின் மற்றொரு துளியாக மாறுமா என்பது யாருக்கும் தெரியாது.
கடல் துளியுடன் இணைகிறது:
ஆனால் ஒரு சிலர் மட்டுமே உண்மையை உணர்கிறார்கள்: தூய உணர்வு அதன் கருணையின் பண்பு மூலம் விரிவடையத் தொடங்கினால், உடலின் துளி கடலால் வலுக்கட்டாயமாக உறிஞ்சப்படும், மேலும் கடல், துளியை அதிலிருந்து மீண்டும் பிரிய ஒருபோதும் அனுமதிக்காது.
