Interpretation: When a person believes that they have control over their every functional advantage, naturally their mind refuses to acknowledge an invisible divine power, and they become an atheist. On the other hand, when someone believes that functional benefits are not within his control, he naturally becomes a believer in God by trusting and giving himself to the divine power that is unseen in the eyes of his intellect.
As an example, In the same way, the rishis of Darukavana and their wives were in the belief that they could control all the functional benefits; hence, they became atheists. For this reason, a legend holds that Lord Shiva arrived in Bikshadanar Golam and vanquished their egos.
