ALBERT EINSTEIN ONCE SAID: A SHIP is always safe at shore. But that is not what it’s built for. It’s designed to travel in the rough sea with the trained sailor.
Similarly, every human is safe within their own religion and its doctrines without any obstacles. However, his birth has naturally endowed him with the skill to transcend the illusionary religious doctrines and swim the ocean of birth that hides within him, that is, as stated by the Rishi Ashtavakra: “Righteousness and unrighteousness, pleasure and pain are purely of the mind and are no concern of yours.”
According to Thiruvalluvar’s Thirukkural, “Piravip Perungatal Neendhuvar Neendhaar Iraivan Atiseraa Thaar”: “பிறவிப் பெருங்கடல் நீந்துவர் நீந்தார் இறைவன் அடிசேரா தார்.” That is, those who find the trained sailor (guru) and surrender completely to him will be able to swim and overcome the fearful religious bondages that reside within their minds and will reach the feet of the indwelling Lord.
In Conclusion No one born as a human can die alone. One could either die with the Guru, the sailor, and swim the ocean of birth to attain immortality, or they could die and repeatedly reincarnate with destiny, the sailor, and allow themselves to wobble on the shore indefinitely, without attempting to swim the ocean of birth.

திருவள்ளுவரின் திருக்குறளின் படி, “பிறவிப் பெருங்கடல் நீந்துவர் நீந்தார் இறைவன் அடிசேரா தார்.”அதாவது, பயிற்சி பெற்ற மாலுமியைக் (குரு) கண்டு அவரிடம் முழுமையாக சரணடைபவர்கள், பிறவிக் பெருங்கடலை நீந்தி, மனதிற்குள் பயமுறுத்தும் மத அடிமைத்தனங்களை கடந்து, தங்களுக்குள் வசிக்கும் இறைவனின் பாதங்களை அடைவார்கள்.
முடிவுரையாக மனிதனாக பிறந்த யாரும் தனித்து சாகமுடியாது. ஒன்று குருவுடன், அதாவது மாலுமியுடன் இறந்து பிறவிப் பெருங்கடலை நீந்தி அழியாமையை அடையலாம், அல்லது அவர்கள் விதியுடன், அதாவது மாலுமியுடன் இறந்து, மீண்டும் மீண்டும் மறுபிறவி எடுத்து, பிறவிப் பெருங்கடலை நீந்த முயற்சிக்காமல், காலவரையின்றி கரையில் தள்ளாட தங்களை தாங்களே அனுமதித்துக் கொள்ளலாம்.
