This Atma ( Self), hidden in all beings, does not shine forth; but it is seen by the people of subtle vision with a sharp subtle intellect.-Katha Upanishad – verse 1.3.12
Interpretation:
In the state of deep sleep, the relief felt by the effulgence of pure consciousness is known by knowledge in the waking state.
In the same way, knowledge in the waking state recognizes the scenes (including the seer) seen by the effulgence of pure consciousness during the dreaming state.
The soul (pure consciousness) hidden in all living beings does not shine because the intellect in this waking state refuses to know that the visions seen in the waking state and the reliefs gained thereby arise only from the effulgence of pure consciousness. But it can be seen only if one has the subtle vision with the keen subtle intellect of the Sadhguru.
”எல்லா உயிர்களிலும் மறைந்திருக்கும் இந்த ஆத்மா(தூய உணர்வு) பிரகாசிப்பதில்லை; ஆனால் அது கூர்மையான நுண்ணிய புத்தியுடன் கூடிய நுண்ணிய பார்வை கொண்டவர்களால் மட்டுமே பார்க்கப்படுகிறது”.- கடோபநிஷத்: 1.3.12
விளக்கம்: ஆழ்ந்த உறக்க நிலையில் தூய உணர்வின் பிரகாசத்தால் கிடைக்கும் நிம்மதி, விழிப்பு நிலையில் அறிவால் அறியப்படுகிறது.
அதுபோலவே, விழிப்பு நிலையில் உள்ள அறிவு, கனவு நிலையின் போது தூய உணர்வின் பிரகாசத்தால் காணப்பட்ட காட்சிகளை (பார்ப்பவர் உட்பட) அங்கீகரிக்கிறது.
ஆனால் விழிப்பு நிலையில் காணப்படும் காட்சிகளும் அதன் மூலம் உணரப்படும் நிம்மதியும், தூய உணர்வின் பிரகாசத்தால் தான் கிட்டுகின்றது என்பதை, அந் விழிப்புநிலையில் அறிவு அறிய மறுப்பதால் அங்கு, எல்லா உயிர்களிலும் மறைந்திருக்கும் இந்த ஆத்மா(தூய உணர்வு) பிரகாசிப்பதில்லை. ஆனால், அது சத்குருவின் நுண்ணிய நுண்ணறிவுடன் கூடிய நுட்பமான பார்வை இருந்தால் மட்டுமே பார்க்க முடியும்.
