Innocent people are not stupid; they think everyone has a kind heart. Those who abuse innocent people for personal gain disregard their own knowledge. That means they ignore their own loving heart.
According to the bhava mantra of the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (1.3.28), the Supreme Force within must first bless the light in our loving hearts. This destroys the misconception of seeing a rope as a snake in semi-darkness, i.e., mistaking falsehood for truth. Rather, the light awakened in the compassionate soul recognizes the true knowledge that sees it as a rope.
Only in the semi-darkness, when the light is dim, do we perceive truth as falsehood. Thus, by the graceful light blessed and made available by the supreme force, truth appears as truth. The manifestation of the truth completely eliminates doubts about death and fear, resulting in the natural state of jivamukti. That is an immortal state.
Therefore, one should understand the glorious mantra in the following way: “Lead me from darkness to light, from falsehood to truth, from death to immortality.” As a result, an innocent person with a loving heart and surrendering qualities will first experience the appearance of the inner light and be guided. That is, the glorious mantra responds in its own proper way from the heart of the innocent, thus “from the unreal to the real, from death to immortality.”
The graceful light will not manifest first and bless in their hearts those who abused the innocent, considered ignorant of their own knowledge and possessing an adamant attitude; they will merely recite the Pavamana Mantra as “Lead me from the unreal to the real, from darkness to light, from death to immortality,” but without comprehending its essence. That is because without the light, they will never be able to recognize the truth and attain immortality.
“அப்பாவித்தனத்துக்கு எதிராக அறியாமை”
அப்பாவி மக்கள் முட்டாள்கள் அல்ல; அனைவருக்கும் அன்பான இதயம் இருப்பதாக அவர்கள் நினைக்கிறார்கள். சொந்த லாபத்திற்காக அப்பாவி மக்களை துஷ்பிரயோகம் செய்பவர்கள் தங்கள் சொந்த அறிவை புறக்கணிக்கிறார்கள். அதாவது அவர்கள் தங்கள் சொந்த அன்பான இதயத்தையே புறக்கணிக்கிறார்கள்.
பிருஹதாரண்யக உபநிஷத்தின் (1.3.28) பாவ மந்திரத்தின்படி, உள்ளிருக்கும் உச்ச சக்தி முதலில் நம் அன்பான இதயங்களில் ஒளியை ஆசீர்வதிக்க வேண்டும். அரை இருளில் கயிற்றைப் பாம்பாகப் பார்ப்பது, அதாவது பொய்யை உண்மை என்று தவறாகக் கருதுவது என்ற தவறான எண்ணத்தை இது அழிக்கிறது. மாறாக, இரக்கமுள்ள உள்ளத்தில் எழுந்த ஒளி, அதை ஒரு கயிற்றாகப் பார்க்கும் உண்மையான அறிவை அங்கீகரிக்கிறது.
ஒளி மங்கலாக இருக்கும் அரை இருளில்தான் உண்மையைப் பொய்யாக உணர்கிறோம். இவ்வாறு, உயர்ந்த சக்தியால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்ட மற்றும் கிடைக்கக்கூடிய அருள் ஒளியால், உண்மை உண்மையாகத் தோன்றுகிறது. உண்மையின் வெளிப்பாடு மரணம் மற்றும் பயம் பற்றிய சந்தேகங்களை முற்றிலும் நீக்குகிறது, இதன் விளைவாக ஜீவமுக்தியின் இயற்கையான நிலை ஏற்படுகிறது. அது அழியாத நிலை.
எனவே, மகிமையான மந்திரத்தை ஒருவர் பின்வரும் வழியில் புரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்: “என்னை இருளிலிருந்து வெளிச்சத்திற்கு, பொய்யிலிருந்து சத்தியத்திற்கு, மரணத்திலிருந்து அழியாமைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லுங்கள்.” இதன் விளைவாக, அன்பான இதயமும் சரணடையும் குணங்களும் கொண்ட ஒரு அப்பாவி நபர் முதலில் உள் ஒளியின் தோற்றத்தை அனுபவித்து வழிநடத்தப்படுவார். அதாவது, புகழ்பெற்ற மந்திரம் அப்பாவிகளின் இதயத்திலிருந்து அதன் சொந்த வழியில் பதிலளிக்கிறது, இவ்வாறு “உண்மையற்றதிலிருந்து உண்மையானது வரை, மரணத்திலிருந்து அழியாதது வரை.”
அப்பாவித்தன்மையை துஷ்பிரயோகம் செய்தவர்களை, தங்கள் சொந்த அறிவை அறியாதவர்களாகவும், பிடிவாத மனப்பான்மை கொண்டவர்களாகவும் கருதப்பட்டவர்களை, அருள் ஒளி முதலில் வெளிக்காட்டி, அவர்களின் இதயங்களில் ஆசீர்வதிக்காது; அவர்கள் பாவமான மந்திரத்தை வெறுமனே “என்னை உண்மையற்றவற்றிலிருந்து நிஜத்திற்கு, இருளிலிருந்து வெளிச்சத்திற்கு, மரணத்திலிருந்து அழியாமைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லுங்கள்” என்று கூறுவார்கள், ஆனால் அதன் சாராம்சத்தைப் புரிந்து கொள்ளாமல், ஒளி இல்லாமல், அவர்களால் ஒருபோதும் உண்மையை உணரவோ மற்றும் அழியாமையை அடையவோ இயலாது.
