நான் ஒரு அதிசயத்திற்காக ஜெபித்து, அது ‘நான்’ என்பதை உணர்ந்தேன். நான் ஒரு ஆத்ம துணைக்காக ஜெபித்து, அது ‘நான் தான்’ என்பதை உணர்ந்தேன்.  — ரூமி

Interpretation: 

I prayed for a miracle and realized ‘I am’ the miracle, which is a contraction of Allah, the Divine Supreme. I prayed for a soul mate and realized ‘I am’ the One, which is a contraction of all knowledge, the awareness of pure consciousness. — Rumi
