Is God’s name his own or a given name?
God’s name cannot be His own because, according to the Karaikal Ammaiyar patil, God is thought to be “any form that is that form,” which means He has no distinct shape, and hence no name can be His own.
vice versa, as he was supposed to be “any form is that form.” Similarly, if every name called by creations is likewise deemed his name, there will be no other individual body or name than God’s. That is, no one can call God by a specific given name since the entire creation exists as God alone.
This means we can’t name and call the true God, but we can feel his presence within every one of us, everywhere, and always. If the concept is accepted in principle universally, there will be no communal conflicts in the name of God; instead, humanity will emerge all over the world.

கடவுளின் பெயர் அவருடையதா அல்லது கொடுக்கப்பட்ட பெயரா?
கடவுளின் பெயர் அவருடையதாக இருக்க இயலாது ஏனெனில், காரைக்கால் அம்மையார் பாட்டில் உள்ளது போல் “எவ்வுருவும் அவ்வுருவே” என்பதாக இறைவன் விளங்கிக் கொண்டிருப்பதால், அவனுக்கென தனித்த உருவம் என்று ஏதுமில்லை, எனவே எந்த பெயரும் அவனுடையதாக இருக்க இயலாது.
மாறாக, அவர் “எந்த வடிவமும் அந்த வடிவமே” என்று கருதப்பட்டதால். அதேபோல், படைப்புகளால் அழைக்கப்படும் ஒவ்வொரு பெயரும் அவருடைய பெயராகக் கருதப்பட்டால், கடவுளைத் தவிர வேறு எந்த தனிப்பட்ட உடலோ பெயரோ இருக்காது. அதாவது, முழு படைப்பும் கடவுளாக மட்டுமே இருப்பதால், கடவுளை ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட கொடுக்கப்பட்ட பெயரால் யாரும் அழைக்க முடியாது.
இதன் பொருள் நாம் உண்மையான கடவுளைப் பெயரிட்டு அழைக்க முடியாது, ஆனால் நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்குள்ளும், எல்லா இடங்களிலும், எப்போதும் அவரது இருப்பை உணர முடியும். இந்தக் கருத்து கொள்கையளவில் உலகளவில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டால், கடவுளின் பெயரால் வகுப்புவாத மோதல்கள் இருக்காது; மாறாக, உலகம் முழுவதும் மனிதநேயம் வெளிப்படும்.
