Swimming in the ocean of birth is not touching from one coast to another. Instead, when one transforms one’s body into a salt bead, the ocean of birth becomes a huge solvent, entirely dissolving the body into itself and appearing as an ocean of purity and tranquility. After swimming, “belief, disbelief, fear, doubt, religion, spiritualism, likes, dislikes, name, gender, body, soul, form, formless, exist, nonexistent, space, time, knowledge, and known” would all disappear. A star appears in the heart. “In the light of that star, the seven worlds, which are believed to be like heaven, cannot be seen.”
Those who are not able to make their body like a soluble bead of salt, i.e. those who are bound by the seven qualities of kama , krodha , thuvesha lobha, moha, madha , and matsarya because their body cannot dissolve in the ocean of peace, it will remain an ocean of birth for such people who cannot swim. The reason for this is births in different forms, “Belief, disbelief, fear, doubt, religion, spiritualism, likes, dislikes, name, gender, body, soul, form, formless, exist, nonexistent, space, time, knowledge and known, are continuously tossed here and there in darkness in the ocean of birth.
That means the same ocean remains the ocean of birth, as well as the ocean of peace and purity! If the human beings who appear in it know the salty nature of that sea and make themselves like a bead of salt, i.e., to be a blessed soul’, they can dissolve in that sea, become swimmers, and join the Lord. For those who are unable to perceive the nature of that ocean, it will become an innate ocean in which for those cannot swim and are unable to join the feet of the Lord.
