You Are That!- “A body that matches the object”

“epporuL yaaryaarvaaik kaetpinum apporuL

meypporuL kaaNpa thaRivu”   Thirukkural:424

Any substance is associated with its attributes, like fire and its heat or milk and its whiteness.

However, if the attribute of any object is to be revealed, the body must be combined with that object to become a body that matches the object. The Tamil word’mei’ has many meanings, like reality, body, life, and emotion’.

That is, only when this body, which is meyi, unites with the object of fire does its attribute of heat become known through this body as a feeling. Similarly, when this body, which is meyi, unites with the object of milk, its attribute of white color is known through these eyes.

Similarly, whatever one hears through anybody’s mouth, its attribute of truth is ascertained only if the thing matches the hearer’s ‘self-body’. If the hearer is not matching their ‘self body’ to that object, whatever that object is, it becomes meaningless.

“I was ignoring my body before; I found the vital substance within the body.” Like as Thirumoolar said in his Thirumanthiram,

In every human body, the functioning of Prana, or breath, is also a vital object. If the body consciously combines their‘meyi’ with this object, then it can be seen that the true attribute of the vital breath manifests itself.

Instead of that, if the awareness of the vital breath within this body is absent, the vital breath becomes immaterial, and departs from this body, and this true body also becomes false.
