“இனிமெய் தெய்வம்”

Whoever comprehends the actual God comprehends his Master. If So, what is a deity without reality?

A classic Siththar Pattinathar song says, “There is nothing as my deed; I realized that True God does all deeds.”

When Pattinathar first believed that he was the cause of all actions, the deity he knew at that moment was different, from the deity he knew after he was enlightened that the Almighty was solely responsible for his deeds.

In other words, the deity perceived prior to enlightenment was false, whereas the deity perceived after inner clarity was true; as a result, Pattinathar sang of this deity as the “True God.”

And hence, the deity perceived by everyone who believes in everything ‘as my deed’ is also a fabrication. For someone who is in a position to grasp grace and is aware that the Almighty is carrying out all of his deeds, the deity that he knows becomes true.

The true God will appear as the true master, representing the individual who recognizes this reality.

உண்மையான தெய்வத்தை அறிந்தவன் தன் குருவை அறிந்தவன் ஆவான். அவ்வாறெனில் உண்மை இல்லாத தெய்வம் என்பது எது?

“என் செயல் ஆவது யாதொன்றும் இல்லை
இனித்தெய்வமே உன் செயலே என்று உணரப் பெற்றேன்” என்பது பட்டினத்தார் பாடல்.

இனித்தெய்வமே என்பதற்கு பொருள்:
எல்லாம் என் செயலே, எல்லா செயலும் என்னாலேயே முடிந்தது, என்று எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்த அந்நிலையில், அதுவரையில் பட்டினத்தாரால் அறியப்பட்ட  தெய்வம்   என்பதும்,

அதே பட்டினத்து சுவாமிகளால் “என் செயல் ஆவது யாதொன்றும் இல்லை உன் செயலே என்று உணரப்பெற்ற” அந் அருள்நிலையில் அறியப்பெற்ற தெய்வம் என்பதும்  இருவேறாய் இருந்ததால்,

அதாவது தெளிவு ஏற்படுவதற்கு முன்புவரை  தெய்வம் என்று கருதப்பட்டது தவறாகவும்,  அகத் தெளிவு ஏற்பட்ட பின் உணரப்பட்ட தெய்வம்  என்பதே உண்மையாகவும் இருந்ததால்  “இனித்தெய்வமே” என்று இத்தெய்வத்தையே பட்டினத்தார் போற்றி பாடியுள்ளார்.

எனவே இதிலிருந்து ‘என் செயலே’ என்னும் எண்ணத்துடனேயே இருந்து வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் தென்படும் தெய்வம் என்பதும் பொய் என்றாகின்றது. மாறாக ‘உன் செயலே’ என்று உணரப்பெற்ற அருள்நிலையில் ஒருவருக்கு தென்படும் தெய்வநிலை என்பதே மெய்யாகின்றது.

இம்மெய்யை உணர்ந்தவனுக்கே அத்தெய்வமும் குருவாய் வந்து நிற்கும்.
