“The divine light that has no beginning and no end”
Stagnation is what keeps people from reaching their goals in any aspect of their lives. The reason for this stalemate is their mental happiness or dissatisfaction. The primary cause of this scenario is expectation. That is, expectations produce a mood of happiness or dissatisfaction, causing stagnation and unknowingly diverting them from the aim they had previously. That is why the sages sought the “endless Jyothi”—”the great divine light without beginning or end.” The reason for this is because when all states such as expectations, satisfaction, discontent, and stagnation vanish, they also become part of Arudperunjyothi’s infinite aim.

“ஆதியும் அந்தமும் இல்லாத அருட்பெரும் ஜோதி”
இந்த மனித வாழ்வில் எந்தத் துறையிலும் மக்கள் தங்கள் இலக்குகளை அடைய விடாமல் தடுப்பது தேக்கம். இத் தேக்கத்துக்கு காரணம் அவரவர்கள் மனதில் ஏற்படும் திருப்தி அல்லது திருப்தியற்ற நிலையே ஆகும். இத்தகைய இந்நிலைக்கும் எதிர்பார்ப்பே மூல காரணமாகிறது. அதாவது எதிர்பார்ப்புகள் திருப்தி அல்லது திருப்தி அற்ற நிலையை உருவாக்கி அதன் மூலம் தேக்கத்தை உருவாக்கி அது வரை அவர்கள் கொண்டிருந்த இலக்கை அவர்கள் அறியாமலேயே திசை திருப்பிவிடும். ஆகவே தான் சான்றோர்கள் “ஆதியும் அந்தமும் இல்லாத அருட்பெரும் ஜோதி” என்று தங்களது இலக்கை “முடிவில்லாத ஜோதியாக” கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். அதன் காரணம் எதிர்பார்ப்புகள் திருப்தி, அதிருப்தி, தேக்கம் போன்ற நிலைகள் யாவும் மறைந்தது போக, அந்தமில்லா இலக்கில் அதாவது அருட்பெருஞ்ஜோதியில் அவர்களும் ஒன்றாகி போனார்கள்.
