 தென்குடித்திட்டை வசிட்டேசுவரர் கோயில்(குருஸ்தலம்) 

திருநாவுக்கரசர், திருஞானசம்பந்தர் ஆகியோரால் தேவாரம் பாடல் பெற்ற சோழ நாடு காவிரி தென்கரையில் அமைந்துள்ள சிவாலயமாகும். இச்சிவாலயத்தின் மூலவர் வசிஷ்டேஸ்வரர், தாயார் உலகநாயகியம்மை.

இத்தலத்தில் சிவலிங்கத்தினை வசிட்ட மாமுனிவர் வழிபட்ட காரணத்தினால் மூலவர் விசிஷ்டேஸ்வரர் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறார். 

இறைவன் மீது 24 நிமிடத்திற்கு ஒரு முறை ஒரு சொட்டு நீர் விழுகிறது. இக்கோயிலில் சிவலிங்க வடிவில் உள்ள இறைவன் வசிஷ்டேஸ்வரர் சன்னதியில் உள்ள உட்புற கோபுரத்தில் சந்திர காந்தக் கல் வைத்து கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளத நம்பப்படுகின்றது. 24 நிமிடத்திற்கு ஒரு முறை இந்த சந்திர காந்தக்கல்லால் காற்றில் உள்ள ஈரப்பதத்தை உறிஞ்சி கல்லிலிருந்து ஒரு சொட்டு நீராய் இறைவன் வசிஷ்டேஸ்வரர் மீது விழுகின்றது. 

24 அட்சரங்களை உள்ளடக்கியது காயத்ரி மந்திரம். அதாவது இத்தலத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு 24 நிமிடங்களுக்கு ஒரு முறையும் இடைவிடாது இறைவன் மீது விழுந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு சொட்டு நீரும், ஒவ்வொரு காயத்ரி மந்திரத்தின் சாராம்சம் ஆகும். 

“மானுடர் யாக்கை வடிவு சிவலிங்கம்” என்பது திருமூலரின் திருமந்திரச் சொல். சிவலிங்க வடிவாகவே இருக்கும் இம் மானுட உடம்பில்,  24 அட்சரங்களை கொண்ட காயத்ரி மந்திரத்தின் “சாராம்சம்”  ஒவ்வொரு சொட்டு நீராக, முறைப்படி பிராண அபாண வாயுக்களின் வழியே  இத் தேகத்தில் இடைவிடாது விழும்படியே செய்து கொண்டிருந்தால், ஒவ்வொரு மானுட வடிவமும் குருஸ்தலம் ஆகிவிடும்.

Chola Nadu is a temple on the Cauvery’s south bank, where Thirunavukkarasar and Thirunnasambandar sang Devaram. Vasishteswarar is the god of this temple, and Ulaganayayamyam is the goddess. Because of Rishi Vasishteswarar’s worship, Moolavar is known as Vishishteswarar. 

Every 24 minutes, a drop of water falls on the Lord. The inner tower in the shrine of Lord Vasishteswarar in the form of Shivalinga in this temple is said to be made of Chandra Kantha stone. This lunar magnetic stone absorbs moisture in the air once every 24 minutes, and a drop of water from the stone falls on Lord Vasishteeswar. 

The Gayatri Mantra is made up of 24 letters. That is, every drop of water that falls on the Lord in this temple every 24 minutes is the essence of every Gayatri mantra. 

The Thirumular mantra is “Shivalingam in the shape of every human being.” If the “essence” of the Gayatri Mantra, which consists of 24 letters, is continuously falling into this body as each drop of water through the Prana Apana Vayus, each human form will become a Kurusthalam.
